Description
It is the oldest and the smallest of the group of Temples on the East Hill. Only ruins are visible today. The originality of this temple is the entrance to the East, unusual for a Greek temple. Probably the reason lies in the need to protect votive gifts or to prevent profane from seeing particular rituals such as Dionysian mysteries.
